No Answer


Latest studies show that more and more people are using their smartphones while driving, putting them at risk of accidents. In fact, people who text while driving are more than 50 % more likely to have an accident. Based on these statistics, the German Road Safety Council and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport asked for an impactful film, which encourages viewers to #donttextanddrive.

Anytime, anywhere - the pressure to be constantly available, both professionally and privately, has increased radically in recent years. This can also be seen in the increasingly natural use of smartphones in road traffic. Based on this insight, No Answer was created in collaboration with the film production company ANORAK and director François Rousselet: an absurd thriller that shows how irrational our reaction can be when someone doesn't text back quickly enough. And makes it clear: “It's okay to be unavailable sometimes. Especially when you're driving.”
